Danielle Brown, LCSW, BC-DMT, is a licensed clinical social worker, certified EMDR therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and board certified dance/movement therapist. Her professional and personal development as a dancer, clinician, and university professor culminate in a trauma-informed approach to her work, which emphasizes the collaboration between client and therapist, and the integration of mind and body.

Psychotherapy is an opportunity to engage in a supportive, collaborative, and dynamic partnership. Danielle sees therapy as a creative process of self-exploration, self-discovery and self-understanding. With her clients’ goals and needs always leading the work, Danielle utilizes psychodynamic models of psychotherapy, EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and dance/movement therapy to help her clients become unstuck and embody health and growth.

Danielle works with a range of presenting concerns including: trauma, grief and loss, life-transitions, stress, anxiety and mood disorders, creative blocks, body image, and chronic pain.
